ABOUT


ARC cotinuum is a third person shorting game on PC and developed on UE4. I worked on this project as a UI/UX designer and concept artist.



Game Cover/Loading Screen

This is a loading screen I did for ARC continuum, it was also used for the game cover art. I had a 3D rendering as a base and I compile it with some 3d building and photos. Then I painted over, adjust the light and color.

UI Design

The style of UI in this game is design as hologram to fit the sci-fi world. It will look like a screen of some high technology advice. I use 3d model from the game and modify with color correction.

Tailer of ARC Continuum

There is some highlight of our game. I took no credits on the 3D environments and rendering. However, I did handle lots of concept design, matte painting, graphics design and UI design. Also, I helped to set up the lighting, composition and particle effects.

Terra: The Occupied City

This is a quick concept art I did for a console game called ARC continuum. I focus on the mood of depressing. As you can see, this is an enemy-occupied city and enemy force everywhere, children and poor lie down on the street. And this image happens to be the key for the designer to further develop the entire story.

Kassa:The Evil Brain


This is the evilest thing in this game. Inspire by some classic sci-fi film, I designed a villain don’t need to move, but “mind control” the entire evil force. I used a photo of a tree as a silhouette and did asymmetry design on it. And then I put him in a room, so he can connect with the network and oversee his empire.


Space Pirates

This is a game-play feature we want to implant into our game. The ship in the mid, which is obviously cargo ship, is hijacking by smaller pirates drone. To balance out the fight, I give the cargo ship some basic defensive power and one single Frigate, so the outcome isn’t too obviously.

Pass the guard

This is another part of the game-play feature, the player has to fool the guard and cross a highly guard bridge. So, you see the electricity net and watchtower.It suggest the player, it’s impossible to pass here by force, So play it “smart”.

Enemy Force

These are some basic enemy design for this game. The requirement is use same basic model but show very different enemy type. The requirement is to use the same basic model but shows very different enemy types, so saturate color is necessary.

Quantum Bomb

The designer wants a key prop to serve the main story-line. So the requirement, this prop is accent technology, which was divided into 3 pieces and hint in different places. When it combines together, it will do a small animation and then explore everything.

Alien Race

Some more alien races were designed to enrich the universe of the ARC continuum. I explored different body types, cultural backgrounds, costumes, and weapons. Some of them look more intelligent, some are more barbarous.
